Nestled atop the towering coastal ridges that skirt the nearby Pacific Ocean, the Flower's estate vineyards, Camp Meeting Ridge and Sea View Ridge, ascend to impressive elevations ranging from 1,150 to 1,875 feet. Flowers is situated within the Fort Ross-Seaview American Viticulture Area (AVA), established in 2012 on the extreme western periphery of the Sonoma Coast Appellation. Characterized by elevation, rugged topography, and proximity to the Pacific Ocean, vineyard plantings are confined to 920-1,800+ feet above sea level, encompassing a mere 2% of the total AVA acreage.

Situated less than two miles from the vineyards, the Pacific Ocean exerts its influence, generating refreshing sea breezes and coastal fog. Meanwhile, the elevated terrain ensures ample sunshine, fostering a lengthy and gradual growing season. This harmonious interplay of factors creates an optimal environment for cultivating elegant and nuanced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

"A fresh yet structured pinot with dried strawberry, orange peel and light caramel with dried stems. Medium body, flavorful, firm and bright at the end. Savory."
-James Suckling, 93 Points

"Delicious, fresh, and savoury, this juicy Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast has violet and smoky flint aromatics buoyed by fresh red berries and a kiss of fresh mint. The palate is reflective, with flinty minerality coming to the fore. Pine sap, notes of fresh evergreen and lovely red fruits, clove and white peppery spice to finish."

"This fine-spun Pinot Noir opens with fresh aromas of coastal evergreens and wildflowers. Hints of early-season cherries follow, macerated in warm spices (anise, cardamom, allspice) and layered over earthy sandalwood. Ripe yet tangy dark berries, wearing a little dust from the patch, star on a lightly textured palate, giving way to savory herbs, delicately tannic red tea, and a pop of salty sea beans. A fascinating play of light fruit and dark spice is finished with a bright squeeze of orange peel."
