Karen Francis DeGolia's journey with Limerick Lane began in the early 90s when she played a pivotal role in reviving the vineyards and establishing Limerick Lane Cellars. As a partner to founder Tom Collins, she witnessed the winery's growth and transformation until his untimely passing. Armed with an economics degree from Dartmouth and a Harvard MBA, Karen left the vineyard for a marketing position in Detroit. After a successful career in the automotive industry, Karen returned to Limerick Lane in 2002, immersing herself in the vineyards and winery.

Once again, Karen felt the urge to work outside of the wine industry and sold the estate to Jake & Alexis Bilbro. This time though, she remained connected to the old vines on the Lane by acquiring the renowned Ricci vineyard located next door. Shortly thereafter, she also acquired the esteemed Cypress Ridge Vineyards, comprising of 12-acre parcel of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah.

Years later Limerick Lane Cellars was back up for sale and with a newfound sense of purpose, Karen returned to her role as the owner of Limerick Lane Cellars, poised to continue its legacy as a leading vineyard estate in the Russian River Valley.
